Nexus Launcher is now Pixel Launcher and you can download it now!

Image
Recently there was a strong rumor that Google will be ditching their  Nexus branding  with this year’s line of pure-as-you-can-get Android devices in favor of Pixel , so it’s no surprise to learn that the Nexus Launcher will be getting a new name as well. This popular and newly rebranded launcher is also now available for your own perusal, thanks to ROM developer LlabTooFeR . On the surface, there doesn’t appear to be anything particularly different about Pixel Launcher. As far as the rumors, the only thing that’s been changed is the name and version number. Oh yeah, and the Calendar icon is dynamic, meaning that it accurately depicts which day of the month it is without accessing the app. If you’re looking for any sleek new features or UI redesigns, you won’t find any of that here. It’s literally the most recent version of the Nexus Launcher with a new name. Nevertheless, if you’re looking to stay abreast of all the latest naming conventions that Google is applying to its va

It has one billion active users, it handles 42 billion messages a day and 250 million videos. Facebook acquired it in 2014. Now this Facebook-owned WhatsApp has come up with an annoying update, which surely seems to be annoying everyone who uses this application. We all know how frustrating WhatsApp groups can be, how useless and time consuming the group notifications are. And this new feature is going to make everything far more worse. The latest update of WhatsApp will allow the users to tag other users in a WhatsApp group. This tagging feature will result in the tagged users getting notifications about group chats. Google Allo Review: Messaging and AI, With Limitations!!

Image
WhatsApp, Apple iMessage, Facebook Messenger, Google Hangouts: There’s a good chance you’re already using two or three different messaging apps just to keep up with friends and family. Alphabet Inc. ’s Google wants you to try one more, Allo. And it is worth a look, even if you never text with another human: Do it to strike up a conversation with the Google Assistant, the search giant’s artificial-intelligence helper. Like Apple Inc. ’s iMessage and Facebook Inc.’s Messenger—and nearly every other messaging app out there—Allo has plenty of fun stickers, both static and animated. Hold down on the text bubble you’re about to send, and you can make text really big or really small to get your point across. While Allo does have a special end-to-end encryption mode called Incognito—which even lets you set a timer for automatically deleting messages—Google does take a look at the standard chat messages on its servers. Why? To enable the Google Assistan

Image
Update: According to  Evan Blass , Google might be launching the hotly anticipated Allo on Wednesday, September 21. Mark your calendars! Google announced their brand new Allo messaging service at IO, this year. Though the exact date of launch was not confirmed, but the Search Giant did mention it was coming “later this summer”. Well, summer is about to end and we haven’t heard a thing about Google Allo… until today. Evan Blass was a very popular personality online, mostly known for his leaks track record. Now he has retired from that ninja life, but still pops up from time to time to give us some murmurs. Today he is taking it to Twitter to let us know Google Allo is launching this week. Out of the loop? Google Allo is a messaging service that promises self-expression, Google Assistant features and security/privacy. Some people compare it to WhatsApp, as it pulls users from your contact list, but it has its own set of features. These include a plethora of emojis and  stickers

The Huawei P9!

Image
Huawei has chosen to market a high-end focused, especially on your camera. No sidesteps the aluminum design and a powerful Kirin 955 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage as standard. The processor has a primary cluster quad-core Cortex-A72 running at 2.5 GHz, and the second cluster is four Cortex-A53 1.8GHz. The graphic is usually where most go weak the Kirin, and that’s the most improvement in the Kirin 955 since its GPU Mali-T880MP4 passes from 700 MHz to 900 MHz. It includes a fingerprint reader on the part further, that while it is not the ideal location, it works very fast in fingerprint recognition. But as I said, the important thing on this phone is the camera. It has certified   Leica   to ensure accuracy and color reproduction, and at the rear includes two 12 megapixel cameras. One of them is responsible for capturing the color of an image and the other is monochrome. This has some advantages in the field of design of the camera capture color and light.

The LG V20- Another flagship by LG built for audiophiles and power users!

Image
LG just announced the V20, a successor to  last year's V10 smartphone.  In 2015, the V10 stood out for its unique, sturdy design, a great camera, and audiophile-grade music playback. LG has retained two of those strengths and introduced others for the sequel. And as we already know, this is the first smartphone to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It's set to begin rolling out globally this month and will be available in three color options: titan (dark gray), silver, and pink. Specific pricing will vary by carrier. The V20's outward appearance is much closer to this year's G5 than the V10. The grippy rubber back has been replaced by smooth aluminum with a fingerprint sensor / home button where your index finger naturally rests. A button on the phone's right side lets you pop off that metal backplate and replace the phone's battery in seconds, but this device isn't at all "modular" like the G5. There are no "friends" or add

Samsung announces worldwide Galaxy Note 7 recall!

Image
Following two days of  rumors and heavy speculation ,   Samsung  has just made an official announcement  on the Note 7 explosions. DJ Koh, the head of Samsung’s mobile business, revealed the results of the investigation of the several Note 7 fire incidents that have been reported since the device went on sale on August 19. The Note 7 will be recalled worldwide. Sales have been suspended, and Samsung is working on preparing replacement units for the affected devices. The process of preparing replacements will take about two weeks, according to the company. Samsung has collected reports about 35 incidents of the Note 7 malfunctioning while charging. As suspected, the problem is related to the battery. Samsung says that just 24 units in every million (or one in 42,000 units) is at risk of fire, but the recall is conducted out of an abundance of caution. More details about the actual recall process will be revealed by Samsung on a per market basis. Previously, an unnamed
